Education Opportunities at St. John
Sunday School:
Most Sundays, year round, we have an education hour between our Sunday worship services. There are classes available for all ages in which we teach the promises of God and the Good News of Christ Jesus. Classes start at 9:15 AM and end at 10:30 AM in time for our second worship service at 10:45AM.
Adult Bible Studies:
This Bible Study is every Sunday morning at 10:30, it is Pastor-lead and it is topical. Our Pastor has at least 4 years of advanced theological education, and so have a great deal of knowledge they are eager to share. In the past, we have studied books of the Bible, Bible stories, and the Lutheran Confessions. This is an excellent chance to hear about the Love of God, ask those tough questions, and get the answers you are looking for.
Vacation Bible School:
Every Summer, St. John offers Vacation Bible School (VBS) free of charge to the congregation and the community. St. John congregation ensures that the VBS program is always Bible based. Our VBS programs provide unique and fun ways to learn about the love that God has for all of us and include songs, lessons, foods and crafts. These are wonderful opportunities to meet new people, see old friends and hear the Good News of Christ Jesus.
